The house

What matters on a show week, and nothing you'd rather skip

This isn't a condo with a pull-out and a stacked washer. It's an entire single-story home set up for the way horse people actually live for a week — or twelve.

Bedroom with queen bed, blue curtains, desk, and TV

Three private queen bedrooms

Everyone gets a real door, a queen bed, and a desk (bedroom 1 also has a TV). Riders, grooms, and family can each keep their own schedule without living on top of each other.

Laundry area with two stacked washer and dryer sets

Two washers, two dryers

Show clothes, saddle pads, polos, dog towels — run two loads at once and start every morning with clean gear instead of a laundromat trip.

Kitchen with stainless range, granite counters, and wood cabinets

A full kitchen you'll actually use

Full-size range, dishwasher, and fridge, dining for six plus a breakfast nook for four, a grind-and-brew coffee maker and a Keurig for 5 a.m. departures.

Sunroom with wood ceiling, sofas, TV, and games

Sunroom / game room with sleeper sofa

A second living space with its own mini-split A/C, TV, games, and a sleeper sofa for flexible extra sleeping — ideal for a late-arriving groom or a kid's crash pad.

Aerial view of the house and fully fenced backyard

Fenced yard, dogs welcome

Six-foot vinyl privacy fence, dog bowls, waste bags, and a baby gate. Up to two well-behaved dogs, no weight limit. $125 pet cleaning fee per stay.

Long concrete driveway leading to the house and garage

Room for the truck

Wide concrete driveway with easy parking for trucks, SUVs, and multiple vehicles. Quiet country setting about a mile down a dirt road — tucked away, not boxed in.

Show-week stays

Made for the circuit, not the weekend

Winter Spectacular, Summer Series, a single qualifier — the house works the same way for all of them. Long days at the rings, short drive home, real rest.

01

Weekly and multi-week stays

Circuit-length stays are what this house is set up for. Book a single show week or string several together — message us for multi-week pricing before you book.

02

Rest between rings

Quiet, private, and dark at night. No shared walls, no hotel hallways, no parking-lot generators. Just a short drive back to a real house.

03

Self check-in, easy departure

Keypad entry from 4:00 PM, checkout at 11:00 AM. Arrive after a late class, leave before an early one — no front desk required.

04

Talk to the owner

You're dealing with us directly, not a management company. Questions about dates, dogs, or the driveway get a straight answer from the people who own the place.

10–12 minutes to the WEC gate

The house is in the quiet country southwest of Ocala — about 10 miles from World Equestrian Center – Ocala. Close enough for a lunch-break run home to let the dogs out, far enough that you're not sleeping next to the show grounds.

Good to know

The straight version

We'd rather you know these before you book than be surprised after.

  • Entire home, sleeps 6 in three queen bedrooms, plus a sleeper sofa in the sunroom.
  • A vehicle is needed — this is a country setting, not a walkable neighborhood. The last mile is a dirt road; the driveway itself is concrete.
  • Pets: up to 2 dogs, $125 pet cleaning fee. Please keep dogs off the furniture and supervise them in the yard.
  • No smoking or vaping inside. No parties or events. Registered guests only.
  • The home is on a septic system — flush only toilet paper. Please don't park on the grass; it's the drain field.
  • Exterior security cameras cover the driveway, side yards, and back fence line. No cameras inside, audio disabled, not actively monitored.

Questions

Frequently asked

How long is the drive to WEC?

10–12 minutes door to gate under normal traffic — about 10 miles. The house sits in the quiet country southwest of Ocala; WEC is on NW 80th Ave. Tap "Directions to WEC" below for the live route.

Can I bring a horse trailer?

The concrete driveway comfortably fits trucks, SUVs, and several vehicles. If you plan to bring a trailer, message us before booking with its length so we can confirm the turn-in and approach will work for you.

Are dogs really welcome?

Yes — up to two well-behaved dogs, no weight limit, for a $125 pet cleaning fee. The backyard is fully fenced with a 6-foot vinyl privacy fence, and we keep dog bowls, waste bags, and a baby gate at the house.

Is the internet good enough to work from?

Fiber Wi-Fi throughout, with a desk in every bedroom. Three TVs — living room, sunroom/game room, and bedroom 1. Streaming, video calls, and entries submitted from the kitchen table are all fine.

Do you offer weekly or circuit rates?

Yes. Multi-week and circuit-length stays are our preferred bookings. Send us your show weeks and we'll quote you directly.

Can I book directly with you instead of through Airbnb?

Not yet — direct booking is coming. For now, Airbnb is the best way to book: that's where the live calendar is, and you get AirCover protection and secure payment. If you're planning several weeks, text us first and we'll help you line up the dates before you book.
